It contains chapters specifically on: the role of business, scaling up the business contribution, business model innovation, enabling policy frameworks, and financing mechanisms. It highlights 19 case studies of companies already moving into this field, providing concrete examples of business model innovation to provide affordable, reliable products and services while overcoming barriers and increasing profitability and scalability in low-income markets.
